Portsmouth NH Cherry Tree Planting In the spirit of the Portsmouth NH Peace Treaty of 1905
My husband, Jim Lee and I, attended the ceremonial tree planting at the Wentworth by the Sea Hotel.
This was the scene at the Wentworth before the ceremony got under way. The little Cherry tree can be seen to the right of the white linen draped podium. It was pretty windy today and the maintenance guys said they had to dig a little hole in advance to set the tree in to keep it from blowing over. Read More ..

Good morning from Washington DC! This picture is from the Robert E. Lee home in Arlington National Cemetery looking out over our nation’s capital. You can see some of the markers in the cemetery in the bottom right of the picture, and then the Washington Monument on the left, the Capital Building in the middle, and the Jefferson Memorial on the far right.

“Actually, if you understood the extraordinary gifts every single challenge in your life makes possible, even inevitable, you’d celebrate your challenges, new and old alike, as the omens that they are of new beginnings, spectacular change, and enhanced superpowers.

What a great trip this has been so far! We got to spend time with great friends Alisa Hagner & “Moo” Angus Woodbury. I got to meet #TwiitterQueens Amy Cesario and Marci James. We’ve had 3 very full days of super learning stuff. And today….. well today we get to meet with Dena L. Stevens and Amy L. Cavender, and hopefully with Mariana Wagner when we head to Colorado Springs for the day! And all of this was possible because of our fabulous Cyberprofessionals meetings being held out here in Denver. All of our Cyberpros friends that came to these meetings are in the group pictures below in my timeline – we had a great time with all of you and look forward to our next meeting in Orlando!

As I made my way into the office , to grab some files, I couldn’t help but be distracted by another gorgeous sunrise in Portsmouth NH. While I followed the direction of the sun, I was able to take this beautiful shot from the Pierce Island looking across the river at the Portsmouth, NH Naval Shipyard. I love how you can see the silhouette of one of the Coast Guard cutters next to the sun. What a great start to my day !

Newcastle NH homes are located all along the water on this little island community. Scenes like this one greet you from the moment you enter Newcastle. Many years ago, fishing was the livelihood of those who lived on the Great Island, as Newcastle is called. Over the last 20 years or so, the demographics have changed considerably and the old-time fishing families have mostly moved on. Homes and condos in Newcastle are on the pricey side with homes generally starting in the high $700,000’s price range, going up to about $3,000,000.
