Prescott Park Portsmouth NH | A Quiet Spot In The Sun

Portsmouth NH has a beautiful park right along the river – Prescott Park. The land for this park was given to the city long ago by the Prescott Sisters, hence the name.
There are lots of pretty spots in the park and plenty of benches from which to sit and linger a bit, taking it all in. You have to be down in the park early to catch the sprinklers on, as in this picture. And if you look around while there, you’ll spot some interesting art in a variety of spots around the park.
