Portsmouth NH Downtown Lodging

As you come into the downtown areas of Portsmouth NH from one of the northern roads, one of the first downtown brick buildings you’ll see is this one in the picture. This is the Sheraton Hotel downtown, and they did a great job of making it blend in the beautiful brick buildings that make up most of our downtown area.
The Piscataqua River is to the left in this picture, giving visitors a great view of our working port and the river that divides New Hampshire and Maine. All of the fun in downtown Portsmouth is within a very short walk from here – shopping, galleries, dining, people-watching, theaters, and more…..
