Rye NH | Things You See On the Side of the Road

I love just driving or riding along and coming upon things you don’t normally see, or expect to see. Jim and I were driving along the ocean the other day, and passed by the area in the picture above. As we passed by, we both looked at each other and asked if we’d really seen what we thought we had. So we turned around and went back…. sure enough, nicely parked amongst the marsh area was this small helicopter. According to neighbors, this helicopter flies in fairly often as does another one – getting their local New Hampshire seafood fix apparently!
Keep your eyes open – you just never know what you’ll see along the side of the road! 
What a beautiful place coastal NH is, and how lucky I am to be able to call Portsmouth NH home!
