Rye NH has a great little harbor where you can watch the lobster and fishing boats come and go throughout the day, and you can also, depending on the season, take an excursion boat out for some whale watching. There are some beautiful homes in Rye NH right along the shores of Rye Harbor – lucky Rye oceanfront homeowners with these great views!

This picture was taken at low tide, with the sun dancing on the water……

New Hampshire Lobsters

If you love seafood and lobsters, you simply must come up here to NH and Maine and try it fresh off he boats! This is one of the local lobster boats, going out of Rye Harbor. The colorful markers in the back of the boat are used to mark this lobsterman’s string of traps that he drops out into the ocean. One marks the beginning of his string of traps and one will mark the end of each string. The number of traps on each string varies, and however many there are, the goal is to have each of them be as full of lobsters as possible!

Dusk Along the New Hampshire Coastline

I love this picture – I really love the changing sky we often have here along the coast of New Hampshire. This was taken looking southward down the long 17 mile NH coastline.

Even though our coast is the smallest in America, it is just beautiful – a great combination of sandy beaches and picturesque rocky shores. When I sit and watch the waves and the sky like this one, it just seems like poetry in motion to me…… I love living here in Portsmouth NH – lucky to be able to call Portsmouth home!

What a great view this is to have from your Rye NH condo! Enjoy ocean and beach views from both floors of this gorgeous condo overlooking Wallis Sands State Beach.

If I had views like this, I’d never get any work done. As a matter of fact, I doubt I’d want to leave at all!
