I love this home in Eliot Maine! Every time I drive by it, it just stands right out to me. It’s a large antique colonial-style home with a white picket fence across the front. Huge maple and oak trees on a really pretty lot …. it’s just a beautiful quintessential New England-looking home.

Have you ever looked in your side mirror or rear view mirror and caught a wonderful view? I began noticing the great scenery in my rear mirrors awhile back, and then just got the idea to take a picture of what was being captured in my mirrors.

Here’s a beautiful fall shot of a peaceful Eliot Maine homes street – a beautiful sunny day with fall colors showing up almost everywhere I looked!

I think I’ll start a category of ‘through my rear view mirror’ posts……

Morning Sun Through Fog

Early one morning on my way through Eliot Maine, I saw the sun working hard to break through very thick fog. This picture was taken about 6:30am this past Sunday morning while driving straight into the sun.

The sun finally did manage to burn through the fog, but it took a long time that day to do so.

One of my seller clients has a real knack for displaying her collectibles. Every time I show her Eliot Maine home, I always stop in front of this shelf and look at the simplicity of this display.

I love the shades of blue – peaceful and quiet, and reminiscent of the ocean being close by.
