You just never know what you’ll see just around the corner or on the side of the road…….  This is in an area of Portsmouth NH homes where you’d least expect to see this!

This is Red Sox country up here in New Hampshire, especially along the NH Seacoast areas.  We’re less than an hour from Boston, making it easy to get to their games if you’re inclined to being in the thick of the action.  Being this close also means we usually get all the Red Sox games on TV and on radio. 

OK, we do have a few NY Yankees fans up here, too….. but Red Sox fans try to ignore that fact if they can….

You just never know what you’ll see by the side of the road if you’re not looking. 

I drove past these stone people the other day, and saw them out of the corner of my eye.  And, of course, I had to turn around and go back to see what it really was that I’d caught a glimpse of, which meant I had to pull out my trusty little camera so I could share it with you as well!

I saw this lady sitting by the side of the road in Portsmouth NH the other day, and I just had to turn around and go take a picture of her!  She’s certainly dressed for the weather, except for her knee socks and gloves……

Hawking her produce on the side of the road….  nope, I didn’t stop in and visit her Farm Stand, but I might one of these days!

I was taking a cut-through route today on my way from showings on one of my listings to a showing on another of my listings when out of the corner of my eye, I spotted these creatures by the side of the road.

It was so hot today, I am surprised they weren’t in the water instead of beside it.  I would have been in it if I could have been!

This picture taken in Stratham NH is another one of those ‘things you find on the side of the road’.  I’ve driven by this location countless times and yet never managed to see this beautiful fountain until recently.  Set off the side of a busy road, just beyond a few groupings of trees is this beautiful water fountain in a smaller pond.  The day I took this picture, the sun was hitting the water, making it glisten quite brilliantly.

When I encounter things like this, it reminds me once again to take the time to look around me and see what’s waiting to be seen and appreciated!

I saw this on the side of the road the other day, and had to turn around and go take a picture.  A rooster race, Honduran Rooster Race??  I’m guessing perhaps this is like those frog races the kids have, only with roosters.

A little while ago, I wrote a post on my real estate blog about the “Things You See By The Side of The Road”.  I had been seeing all kinds of things along the roads of my travels around the areas of Seacoast NH and southern Maine.

I’m thinking this roadside offering fits right in there, too!

I was driving from an appointment in Exeter NH back to my office, and decided to drive through Greenland for a relaxing country drive.  Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted something a little unusual on the side of the road in front of a Greenland NH home.  Naturally I had to turn around and go back – photo opportunity!

Have you ever seen a plane for sale on the side of the road?  Nope?  Me either, until I saw this one!
