The mountain in the background of this picture is Mt. Chocorua and this view is from a home for sale about 40 minutes northwest of Portsmouth NH homes.  Mt. Chocorua is part of the White Mountains in NH.

Rye New Hampshire living provides those lucky enough to live here along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean lots of scenery that evokes ocean living like the picture above does.  The wooden traps in the picture are lobster traps, and the colorful things on top of the left stack are lobster buoys, used to mark each lobsterman’s string of traps.

This family of swans in Rye NH were right by the side of the road, busy Ocean Blvd. that runs along the Atlantic Ocean.  Papa, Mama, and 2 fuzzy baby swans, totally oblivious to the traffic.
